The Venue

Burden’s Solace is a project that has been in the making a long time. From the spark of an idea to final fruition, a new era is born. Located in Ishgard, the outside fits the general aesthetic of the snowy city. Save a few imported Eastern Wisteria, the Estate looks more like a home than a venue. Past the heavy wooden doors opens a luxurious entrance boasting of imported Hingan wood, flora, and architectural designs while still paying homage to the reddish wood and stone that Ishgard’s interiors are known for. The first floor possesses a large seating area, a welcome desk, and access to private rooms.Further inside and down a set of stairs open the real vista of the building. A sprawling seating area with tables, booths, and stools. A fully equipped and stocked bar ready to serve all your needs to satisfy your beverage needs. At the far end of the basement level is a large, raised area. Set against an aetheric waterfall feature and lush greenery the stage is multipurpose. Whether it be to offer a place for a grand performance, a solo gig, or even sanctioned matches, the stage is the perfect place for entertainment. On the nights the venue hosts fight matches, the venue does offer a medbay for any injuries that participants may sustain.Find yourself a seat, converse amongst your friends. Quench your thirst with imported liquors and spirits. Test your might against an opponent or show off musical talent. Whatever your desire, Burden’s Solace is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Be you Noble, Adventurer, or perhaps the type to keep darker company. All are welcome in this neutral haven for the morally gray.

Rules

1. Both the venue and the discord are both zero tolerance for drama. Leave any personal drama at the door, and any drama within the venue/discord will be dealt with swiftly.2. IC actions have IC consequences. Please keep that in mind when RPing in the venue. And please use communication with other parties when prompted for conflict.3. Communication and OOC consent are a must. While the character is unaware, the player has a right to know if something may happen to their character.4. The venue is an mature RP space, however we do not allow open ERP in the venue. Please leave before engaging. Conversation topics may become dark, mature, and for that reason the venue has a rating of 21+.5. The staff have the right to remove your character from the venue if you break the rules OOCly or ICly. Consequences!6. If you have an issue, please bring it to the moderation teams attention either in-game through tells, or private messages in discord. We are happy to help!7. There should be absolutely no blending of IC and OOC.

A tender juicy interior meets a crunchy exterior, this popular Hingan snakc is a great mixture of meats and vegetables.

Fries. Frites. How much more complicated can they be? A simple basket of fried, sliced potatoes that pair perfectly with any dip.

Fresh Fruit

All the fruits you can imagine, its the one place Mizuki has splurged the most! Imported from all across the star.

Sliders

Dodo, Yak, Dzo - an array of meats to go with these bite sized burgers. They come in orders of 4, so be careful! You might fill up on them.

Breaded Mushrooms

Another simple treat - breaded mushrooms purchased day of open to ensure maximum freshness! Deep fried to perfection!

Dango

A delicacy in Hingashi and Mizuki's favorite treat! Three rice dough balls filled with red bean paste. Have one, or three!

Mochi Ice Cream

Another Hingan treat, these rice balls are filled with various flavors of ice cream! Strawbery, Chocolate, or Matcha.

She possesses a charismatic and alluring personality, utilizing all her talents to entice others to open closed gates. After all, there is one thing on this star that the woman craves above all else.Knowledge.

1. We use a 3 hit system, where the first person to hit their opponent 3 times wins.2. Each fight takes approximately 30 minutes. In the case that 3 hits are met before the timer, fighters are allowed to continue to fill the full 30 minutes.3. Please keep your posts to a at most two posts in order to keep the flow of the fight. We understand some people are slower typers.4. Magic is allowed within reason. And with any fights:
No maiming. No killing.5. We do not allow god modding, WoLs, Ancients, or any other genre of character that could be considered overpowered. This is a fair fighting arena.6. Our fighting system is ever evolving! If you have suggestions please let Mizuki know.

We like to give new people a chance!- There are four fights a night with the last fight being open to anyone at the venue.Please use our discord to sign up for fights!

While our medbay isn't required its open for fighters to get their characters patched up and to give our medic staff some good RP!When a fight concludes, you'll be ushered over towards the medbay to get checked out. No bump or bruise is to small.So grab yourself a potion and chat up the healer! You never know what stories you might pick up.
